HELLO ALL...I WAS JUS INFORMED THAT THERE HAS BEEN ANOTHER RECALL..THE FORMULA SIMILAC. IVE BEEN USIN SIMILAC SINCE DAY 1 WIT MY BABY BOY. NOW ITS BEIN RECALLED..WTH. ITS THE #1 FORMULA DOCS RECOMMEND, ITS THE 1 THEY GIVE AT HOSPITALS AFTER DELIVERY. JUS WOW... SO MY SIMILAC HAS BEEN TAKEN AS WELL AS MY TYLENOL (IM SURE SOME OF YALL HAV READ THAT POST). WHAT ELSE WILL GO IN RECALL??? ANYONE ELSE USES THIS FORMULA???

There is other different kind of milks out there...instead of posting here, ask the doctor what he'll recommend for your baby when you go and see him/her. I mean because you can get powdered milk and there's different brands of those milks, so ask your doctor.
similac is only being recalled for powder brands, if you are using ready to feed it's fine.
I AM USIN POWERED SIMILAC..BUT SINCE I GOT ON WIC THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WILL DECIDE TO DO TIL PROBABLY TUES..I DO LIKE BUYIN THE READY TO FEED BUT HAVE USED IT A FEW TIMES...
I use enfamil myself. Wic put me on the ready to feed because the doctor prescribed it to me. If I were you I'd talk to your child's doctor about them prescribing a formula that way wic will be a tad bit faster in helping you out. that's how it was for me. They at first only wanted to give me powdered formula but since the doctor gave me that prescription note for wic that I and my child would benefit more from the ready to feed wic was more understanding.
